Meet some of our Members!
This is Alex's first real musical experience and he was quoted saying, "Well, I sing in the car!" Alex loves music and when he's feeling down, singing with this group brightens his day. He's an avid hockey fan, enjoys writing stories, and is currently attending Shoreline Community College.
Anthony is a Roosevelt High School senior who was skeptical of his own voice when he discovered Diverse Harmony. Now, after some practice, he has learned to love singing and has found a community of amazing people in the program. Recently, he has found himself singing at every opportunity, and loving it!
Loralee has been a member of Diverse Harmony since March 2011, and a Chorus Rep since the summer. Now 21, she has had several choral experiences, including four years of high school Symphonic choir and three years of high school show choir. She has also been a part of ACDA’s National honor choir and participated in many musicals. Loralee is very excited to be a part of Diverse Harmony and its welcoming community atmosphere.
Originally from Austin, TX, Sarah is now attending the University of Washington and one day wants to teach Kindergarten. This will be her third season with Diverse Harmony and over the years, it has been a great learning experience and a blast! When she's not doing her thing with Diverse Harmony, she can be found running around in colorful tights.
Sarah H. joined Diverse Harmony in 2009 and loves it very much! She graduated from Shorecrest High School in June, 2009. In her spare time Sarah likes to play ukulele, knit, play soccer, and be with all the people she loves! :]
Sylvie joined Diverse Harmony in 2009 and has been a chorus representative since summer of 2011. She sings in Garfield High School’s concert choir. Other than singing, she enjoys swimming, memorizing digits of pi, and drawing on an etch-a-sketch. Tuesdays are her favorite days of the week!
Ysabel is a 17 year old high school junior and a dedicated member of the Diverse Harmony group. She has been in quite a few shows before with smaller independent acting troops and with her school (most recently a series of one-acts at her high school). She loves singing and acting and plans to graduate high school with an IB diploma.
